Welcome to the Gathering A short film by local surfer and film maker Jim Hope.
Sea Kayak Scotland Douglas Wilcox, renowned for his stunning photographs of sea kayaking around Scotland, will be showing us previously unseen images from his adventures this year.
Film Festival Screening of the entries to the first Storm Gathering Film Festival with footage submitted by paddlers inspired to capture their adventures on film. Our judge for the evening will be no other than international film maker and sea kayaker Justine Curgenven.

Gordon Brown From Skyak Adventures (not Downing Street!) is one of Scotlands top coaches and author of the book Sea Kayak which took the sea kayaking world by storm last year.
St Kilda…the first crossing A detailed account of the first crossing by kayak to St Kilda in 1965 by Hamish and Ann Gow. Hopefully Hamish himself will be here to tell us first hand about this incredible achievement.
Mingulay by kayak Restored film by Hamish of the first recorded trips round Barra and Mingulay by kayak in the early sixties. The silent film will be accompanied by local singer and piper Anna Murray to capture the essence and atmosphere of early sea kayaking in Scotland.

Further afield Nick Cunliffe from Surf Lines in Wales will be inspiring us to plan our own sea kayak expeditions with images and stories from his travels to the Lofoten Isles, Baja, and Alaska.
Ceilidh Face the West and Anna Murray will provide a fitting and rousing end to the gathering.
