2nd UK Storm Gathering

Alex has created a Facebook Group ‘UK Storm Gathering’ which can be used to share pictures from the gathering.

It includes two of the entries to the film festival, though not the winners!

Conrad’s ‘edge of existence’ DVD, shot in St Kilda in 2006, took first place in the gathering’s mini film festival and won him this fabulous trophy, kindly sponsored by Lendal.

It might not have been windy enough for some but we had the season’s first taster of Storm Paddling yesterday with a SW funneling nicely up Loch Seaforth to give us a great ride and some good surfs up the loch… right until the final mile anyway!

Though it’s not far away there are still places available at the gathering… so if you’re interested have a look at the booking page and get in touch.

If travel is an issue we do have a limited number of kayaks available if it would help you out and likewise we can assist a small number of people who would prefer to bring they kayaks over on foot.

Four weeks from now the gathering will be in full swing! We have now finalised the evening programme in An Lanntair and more information about the kayaking has been added.

Over the next few days we will be adding details of the coaches and giving an idea of the sessions they will be running so check back soon!
